Congratulations to Tom Murphy who is the Simon Black Academy’s first ever AFL draftee.
Tommy joined the Academy at the start of 2017 to help develop his game while also undertaking university studies.

Upon graduation of the first year Diploma of Sports Development (Elite), you will be able to continue with a Bachelor of Business (Sports Management) with an advanced standing.
You will be guided by an exercise physiology team dedicated to ensuring your body reaches its maximum athletic potential.
Students will be enrolled in a Diploma of Sports Development (Elite) delivered by Torrens University Australia in the first year of study.
On top of our football, strength & conditioning and education programs, students will also participate in personal development workshops that focus on leadership, goal-setting and resilience.
You will undertake a Level 1 Coaching and Umpiring course, providing you with knowledge and skills required to umpire AFL at a community level.
